Need to interpret what this means.. HELP.

So my husband and I were talking before bed and I look over at a picture we have on a wall of us when we were about 15 or 16 years old. I tell him "I think I look almost the same now as I did then" (I'm 28 now btw). In response he said "no.. you were prettier then." My jaw dropped. How could he say that?! So before I get the frustration out on him I ask well what does that mean? What am I now? He said "idk ...older? So I'm just confused as to what he meant. Also, a bit upset. Did he mean I look more mature? But .. prettier then? Ugh help ladies. What would you think? Or am I looking to into this?
