- could it be time?

Bryanna
I woke up this morning having contractions so I took a shower. They've been coming all day but I didn't pay them any kind as they weren't painful, more like uncomfortable tightening. So eating dinner with my toddler around 6 I realized that I was needing to stop chewing during one of my contractions. I had gotten so used to just ignoring them because they're not painful. So after dinner I started to time them and they're 3-5 mins apart but still not painful!! Just very uncomfortable. I've been timing them for 2 hours now with 3-5 mins being consistent.
The only reason I'm not calling my doctors office yet is because with my first born I had false labor and went in and got sent home. Because while I wa having contractions I wasn't dilated at all or progressing. I also didn't end up having him for another week.
Yesterday I had my appointment and was dilated to one and starting to get soft but that's it. Weight estimate at 7lbs.
What do you think I should do? I'm going to take a warm bath thinking maybe they'll fizzle out during the bath if they do at all? I REALLY want to avoid going to the hospital if it's just false labor.. should i wait til I'm in a lot of pain? But My hospital is 40 mins away...
I'm sure you can see my dilemma
