shortness of breath?

I'm 36 weeks. I had the flu on Thursday and then Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday had congestion and headaches. I am feeling better now. 
But I'm curious if anyone else is having a hard time breathing? I've also got very high heart rate. But every time I go into the doctors my blood pressure is fine. I tell my doctor and she says it's all normal I don't think it is. But I still feel baby being active and I just am having a hard time breathing. I feel very weak and dizzy when I try take deep breaths cause I feel I am not getting enough air.
Drinking water makes me feel sick and I feel horrible. Idk what else to do besides lay in bed or sit down cause anything else I feel like I just can't get enough air. Sounds dumb and silly but I'm freaking out. I loose air and my heartbeat is hella fast. Please tell me that someone else is experiencing this too and it's not just me. I've gone into the doctors office and L&D. They say it's all normal and send me home. Idk what to do.

Yes shortness of breath is super common especially near the end because baby/uterus is pressing on your lungs due to running out of space, add to that cold symptoms & it's pretty darn uncomfortable! I'm 37 weeks 2 days & I will get really out of breath just getting dressed & brushing my hair in the morning, everything takes twice as long 'cause I keep having to sit down & rest! I'm just trying to stay focused on the fact that the end is in sight & baby will be out soon! Hang in there, we can do it :)

Had this with my second for a while after being sick. Try walking actually. I hated it at first but then it really helped out. I was anxiety ridden with that one so it was hard. Do what works initially but then get up and moving;) I went to the mall and window shopped for a half a day lol! If that is too much I did do some leaning over a yoga ball and kinda bending my knees to the floor and back up again, helped baby to drop down from my ribs:)

I just posted about this same exact thing. I burns when i inhale. It is so super scary. Ok Monday I woke up with pink eye and my 5 year old had a fever. We both went to the dr. She only had a fecer lungs clear no other issues. I had pink eye. Lungs clear no other issue. Last night I couldn't sleep because I couldn't breath. And all day today at work i couldn't catch my breath. I am debating now if I should go to the er or just try and relax. I hope it goes away. I completely understand your concern about it. Super scary.

Get your iron tested, this is exactly how I feel when mine is low, I have had to up my dosage several times throughout my pregnancy. I also have a higher heart rate During all of my pregnancies and deliveries, and have never actually had a problem with my heart. Staying hydrated definitely helps the heart rate a bit, and takings a good iron supplement will help your dizziness and breathing issues xx
