Dr Appt Yesterday...

So I had an appt yesterday.

I got there, they took my weight, BP, all normal stuff... My BP was high apparently.

So the Dr immediately sent me over to L&D to be monitored & said they will probably induce me tonight, scared the living crap out of me!

I was trying to ask questions & figure out what the hell was going on. (of course this is one appt my husband didn't go to with me)

I tried asking how I'd get high BP and the only answer I got was "since this is your second baby, it's strange, unless you've switched partners and it's a different dad than the first"

Excuse me?! NOOO!!! It's NOT a different dad. Unless he switched his own semen without me knowing, not possible.

Have any of you ladies been through this?? It was very irritating... I felt like they were so quick to assume my BP was high without rechecking a 3rdtime after I had been sitting for a while... No one was really answering my questions...

In the end, I was monitored for 4 hours, checked blood, checked urine & all were good, proteins were good, etc. Plus, from the very first BP monitor they got on me at the hospital, my BP was normal, never spiked, baby was never in de-stress, nothing. So I definitely DONT have pre-eclampsia and I was released last night.

I am dilated to a 2! 🙌 & got my membranes swept so hopefully things will get going soon.
