13weeks pregnant with my rainbow baby!!
Last year I had 2 missed miscarriages. Both were at less than 7 weeks. I never got the chance to see them. When I was 8w6d, I got to see my baby for the first time, but baby was measuring 8w2d, so I was a little worried. Yesterday I thought baby was 12w2d (based on baby measuring 4 days behind), but baby was measuring 12w6d. I also got to hear my baby's heartbeat for the first time at 159 bpm. Before my appointment I was so scared that they would say my baby stopped growing, or that something was wrong, but my baby was absolutely perfect.
I haven't announced to anyone yet (not even my mom), because no one, other than my husband, was there for me for my last 2 miscarriages, so I didn't want to tell them. So I'm sharing this news and excitement with all you lovely ladies who were there for me from the start. Thank you for being there for me when I was scared. It feels so good to finally be out of the first trimester, and I can finally enjoy my pregnancy ❤😊
