Is my baby overeating?

So my baby was born early and weighed 4.1 lbs so I fed her how much and whenever she wanted so she can gain back that weight. She's almost a month and is over 6lbs which is great, my concern is that I'm overfeeding her because she drinks 4+oz of bm every feeding. Is that ok or should I cut down?

That's fine. 4 oz is typical for a breast fed baby. Good job momma!

Sounds like you have a good eater on your hands! I'm sure it's okay. When my son is hungry, I give him as much BM as he wants and he's a healthy 17 pound 4 month old!

They'll eat until their full.as long as they're not vomiting after I wouldn't be worried. Spit up is normal though :)

4oz is fine.  My four week baby will sometimes eat 6oz.  I was worried and asked on here but everyone assured me that it was just fine

Don't forget that breast milk also includes the water for the baby so they don't get dehydrated.  I felt the same way as you that I was over feeding my baby until I realized nursing serves both purposes. 🙂
