dry and itchy! sos

Had a yeast infection last weekend. Doc gave me 150 mgs of some antifungal pills. Burning and most discomfort went away with a day or two. Here I am almost a week later and I'm really dry and itchy down there. I looked in a mirror and it's a little red and appears to be irritated. I've been applying monistat ointment... I just want it gone!!!! 😭 what should I do?
