How long did it take for you?

I love hearing stories about how women waiting years for a BFP finally get theirs. How long did your stressful journey to motherhood last? Few months? Multiple years?

Answer

It took us almost 3 years with no diagnosed fertility issues. Around the 2.5 year mark, we went to the dr and I was put on Clomid. After 3 cycles of that, we did Clomid. And IUI and now I'm 27 weeks with a little girl!

All of those months of trying became increasingly difficult and I was really discouraged and on the verge of giving up. I actually told my husband that if the IUI didn't work, I couldn't take anymore emotionally and that we should stop for a long time. But things finally worked out for us and I'm still in shock :)

The first time it was a month after we started trying, second was 18 months before we conceived, and now we're going into month two this time around praying we get our rainbow baby soon.
