Realtionship!

Okay he did he hasn't asked me out yet because he "doesn't have a title". what does this mean? And how should I treat him ? Like a boyfriend or someone I'm talking to ? We both like each other but what I'm afraid of is that he might not even ask me out if I give him to much attention or treat him like my boyfriend. I already told my parents he's my boyfriend and I Have met his parents too . But I want him to ask me out now not just be someone who he like a lot
