Getting Off for the First Time

I lost my virginity a few months ago and haven't yet had an orgasm from intercourse. This really bums out my bf. I tried to tell him most women don't have an orgasm from intercourse for awhile--and he understands that, but he still doesn't like getting off when I don't. So I was just wondering when any of you first had an orgasm during sex and if you did anything different to make that happen.
