Why can't I have a period! Please help if you have ideas!

I am going on 4 months now without taking BC pills and I have had absolutely no bleeding at all. I have already talked to doc and for those that think this is normal she assures me it's not and she tested my hormones and they are normal. Then she put me on 10 day mpxyprogestrone that was supposed to make me have a period but it was not successful. Please if anyone has any idea what could be wrong or what my next step with gyno will be once I have the appointment I would appreciate it!
