hand pain??

Question

I'm 31 weeks and recently I've been waking up every morning with awful finger and joint paint. I can barely make a fist and the pain lessens throughout the morning but never fully goes away. Thing like washing my hair, putting my hair in a ponytail are very painful. My hands don't look bloated or any different. Just very achy and stiff. Almost bruised like 😩

I had that so bad!!! It's carpal tunnel! I bought some wrist bands for it but it never quite cleared it up. Night time is definitely the worst!!! It literally went away within a few days after I had my son. Thank

Same problem here too. I looked it up. Apparently carpel tunnel syndrome is normal during pregnancy because of all the extra fluid and blood we carry.... I have been trying to sleep with my hand up on my pillow by my head and that seems to help...

This is 100% me and has been happening for probably 6 weeks now. At first the wrist splints helped during the night, but now it's getting so much worse. My fingers are always pins and needles and they go numb randomly numerous times a day. Holding a phone, typing in my computer, driving, etc. I can't even open bottles or grasp a screwdriver anymore due to numbness. Doc says it's just pregnancy induced carpel tunnel and it should go away once he's born. I'm just tired of dead hands lol!

This is Normal I have it too it's really bad some morning where I can't even use my hand to brace myself to get out of bed my dr said It will go away after baby is here

I believe some women develop carpal tunnel syndrome during pregnancy, so that might be worth looking into. I've never had it myself though, so don't know the symptoms very well.
