Breastfeeding for about 40 min she pops off but then cries for it again... I've switched sides 3 or 4 times already

Is she fully nursing or just suckling? My son would hang out there just suckling and my breast would be empty. I would swap sides thinking he was still hungry, and he would get annoyed because there was milk coming out, he would just let it drain out of his mouth. He was using me as a paci!

Check her latch. Doesn't sound like she is getting good efficient milk transfer. Look up dr. Jack Newman breastfeeding videos they are helpful. If you are concerned about amount of milk or having a low supply. Make sure you are not consuming mint in teas or gums as it can lower supply and maybe look into fenugreek  and milk thistle as natural supplements to increase supply. Meds for that would be domperidone which has the side effect to increase breast milk production. It worked for me but was my last step.
