In your mind, is there a difference between prostitutes and porn stars?

I asked my fiance this question and his response to me was "Porn stars are hookers" so that's not exactly what I mean. 😂

Is there a difference between a person out on the street, going with strangers to hotel rooms or in their cars, getting paid for sex and a woman getting paid to have sex with someone on camera?

This post isn't to bash anyone. Please no shaming anyone for having sex or any disrespectful nonsense. Don't go out looking for fights.

This is my opinion: Porn stars are "cleaner". As in no STDs. Porn stars get tested regularly and have to provide medical records of it to keep working. Porn stars are also on birth control. With people out on the street, you never know.

Porn stars get paid more and (my fiance told me this) get better health benefits (insurance).

When I think porn star, I think of this person who's put together and has the "ideal" body. When I think prostitute, I think of my grandpa's girlfriend and just the stereotype prostitute. Might be something I've just been conditioned to think so if that's false, I apologize.

I see the life of a porn star as being more "glamorous" than a prostitute's, even though I know that's not always the case.

That all being said, I don't see either of these jobs as something to put someone down over.
