Smoking marihuana and breastfeeding?

My friend is currently smoking weed for her anxiety and breastfeeding. 
She asked if it was bad. I told her i wasnt sure. Cause some women do it. What do you guys think? Is anyone doing that? Do you guys know of anyone doing the same? Is it safe?

I use marijuana for medical use only and had to stop once I became 27 weeks pregnant and now that I'm breastfeeding my dr told me it is not harmful but not recommended to continue use while breastfeeding. Your baby does NOT get a high if you smoke and nurse. The baby does get it in their system. THC latches onto fat and that's basically all breast milk is. I was told this by my Dr and other info as well.

It goes through the breast milk I wouldn't say it's harmful just could get her baby taken if the dr caught the THC in its system

well they consider marijuana a form of illegal drug so if she went to the doctor and they took her blood and found that in her system they may get cps involved. but I think if she talks to her health care provider and maybe opt for other anxiety reliefs to help with her anxiety.
