I got here at 6 yesterday (1/29/17) evening, I was only 1 centimeter dilated so they had to ripen my cervix. To do so, they stuck a shoelace thing on my cervix covered with an artificial sperm that opened up my cervix.

I started having contractions and I was exhausted so I wanted to sleep, I took a sleeping pill and fell asleep around 10. I woke up because I felt a kick and water pour out of me but I honestly thought it was pee bc sometimes when she would kick pee would come out, but it was my water breaking at 1:30 in the morning, they checked and I was 4 centimeters, so I took another 2 doses of the sleepy pain drug through an IV so I can sleep through them as they progressed. I woke up around 4 in the morning because the contractions got really painful, really fast. I was progressing rapidly, and I was at 6 centimeters. I took the epidural and I slept until I was 9 centimeters,  and then they pushed pitocin at 9:00 in the morning to get me at 10 centimeters, and then at 9:45 I was totally dilated & within 15 minutes of pushing she came.
