sex/not happy ending

Second time in a row my husband has almost got me there but not quite and so I brought up different things we could try that I think my turn me on but he really doesn't want to do them. Anyone else gone through this? My hubbys amazing in bed!!! But the last two times although great during didn't have the grand fanale, what do you guys do when this happens? (Ps. Fingers don't really do the trick once he's been inside me)
