pregnancy weight

Okay so my last pregnancy I gained 40 lbs and then after delivering lost it all and then regained it all lol I was working on losing all the weight because I was told I was prediabetic and lost 15 lbs then found out I was pregnant again this baby or my body lol is craving a ton of veggies and water so that's a plus but are their any activities I could do to hopefully keep my weight balanced instead of gaining so much again I know eating healthy and I've been working on that but idk what exercises if any are good or okay for me now I've done yoga and sit ups and the basics before I found out also!!! Any good advice on how to curb sweet cravings? I brush my teeth after every meal to help minimize snacking too much (I'm an emotional eater) I'm trying hard for not only my baby/pregnancy but also for son who is 1 and a half and always wants to play I'm just looking for advice or even words of encouragement
