Is it true that girls normally stop growing after their 3rd year on their period? Because I'm 14 now and in march I would have been on it for three years. But is this true because I'm only 5'1 and want to be a bit taller??

Girls do tend to stop growing around that age. The only way to find out if you can still grow taller is getting checked out by a bone doctor. All my bone doctor had to do was feel my knees and he told me that I would only grow maybe one more inch (this was when I was maybe around your age). I'm not very tall but come to find out guys absolutely love short girls :)

U don't really stop growing until u are 18 or so, However,  that depends primarily on how tall are your parents.
For example, my dad was 6 foot 3, my mom is 5 foot 2. I'm 32 and I'm 5 foot and 100 lbs. I've stuffed my face all my life, could never get past 100 lbs.. 
It's mostly genetic. But as anything else in this world, exceptions are very possible too.. 
My younger sister is 5 foot 7. She takes after my dad..
U honestly have a few more years of growing,  u have hood chances to grow taller

No thats not true you generally dont stop growing until you are an adult as far as height but weight will always fluctuate ive been 5ft 1 since 6th grade ive stayed about 90-100lbs most of my life until i was 20 when i had my son i retained some of my baby weight now much weight is 100-110
