Could I die if I give birtg at 17?

I am 5 feet and before I got pregnant I weighted 110. I don't have any complications at the moment.

Well, if you're healthy then it's not likely. But you can die during birth at any age. I wouldn't worry about it

Yeah anyone could die giving birth. It's always a possibility. I'm 17 and gave a healthy birth vaginally to a healthy babygirl exactly 6 months ago today !!! (OMG) lol.

Well. You might need to have a c section if the baby is too large, but people far smaller than you have had successful pregnancies without risk to the mother.

My grandmother was about your size and had 2 healthy babies back in the 60s, and I have a friend about that size who's on her 3rd.  Childbirth isn't without risk at any point, but just keep going to your dr appointments and talk to them about any specific concerns you have. That's the best way to minimize risk.

"Baby too large" is VERY rare. Our bodies don't usually grow babies that we can't handle giving birth to. My mom is barely over 5' and gave birth at 17 just fine. I have a friend who has three kids and she's around 5', all just fine. Your pelvis bones will be able to stretch due to hormones at the end of pregnancy, you will do great!

Your doctor should make you aware of any complications you're at risk for, hun. If s/he hasn't talked to you, I would ask but you should be fine if you have no health problems, family history of health problems, or anything like that. There can be unseen complications during labor, but try not to focus on that too much. Just try to relax. As long as you've let your doctor know everything, you should be fine.
