Do you wake up your baby every 2-3 hours to feed him or her even if there sound asleep?

I did for the first month because the doctor said to do it. Now he's 2 month and we feed on demand which usually means every 2 -3.5hrs at night.

Never!!! When they are hungry they will wake up on their own. I've had three kids and never woke up any of them for a feeding this is my 4th baby and i will not wake her up either to feed.

My baby was in the NICU for 5 days and the nurses had him on an every 3hr, diaper change, nurse, then sleep. He slept at least 6 hrs straight through the night from birth on that schedule. I would wake him up every 3 and it worked perfectly. He's now 14 months and still sleeps about 9hrs each night and naps twice a day. I plan to do the same thing with my second!

Unless she wakes up no. Sometimes she falls asleep her bottle or with boobie and she's good for a pretty good while becAuse she only sucks when hungry or thirsty you know? Lol it's 4:50 am I can't sleep sorry if i make no sense haha
