Plus size and c section?

Anyone have experience? I'm super worried about the healing process due to having extra fat in the area.

Yep! They do the incision right above your pubic hair line. I'm a size 18 and have a fold of skin there so it was literally in the crease of a fat roll. (Sexy right) I put a piece of paper towel under my skin to keep the area dry. I'm almost 4 weeks pp and it seemed to heal fine. They used dissolving stitches. I was really worried but it didn't turn out to be as bad as I was expecting.

My outside incision actually ruptured. I wasnt plus size, but I had lost 80 pounds and had a big flap of skin that hung over my incision. Use a sanitary napkin placed over your incision to absorb moisture and keep it dry, it will heal faster. Also, before your surgery request a belly binder from your doctor, it's A LIFE SAVER!

I've had 2 and I'm plus sized. It hurts but I healed pretty quickly.
