help!

I've just had my first scan after getting a positive after misscarriage 2 months ago. By my dates I was 8 weeks but due to being irregular wasn't sure. The nurse said either I'm early on or she couldn't get a good picture due to my bowels being in the way. Has anyone else had a scan like this and everything has been ok? I'm freaking out. The midwife said not to worry but it's easier said than done!!
