Birthday depression.

Every year my husband is miserable the days leading up and the day of his birthday. Every year I struggle with what to do. He says he doesn't want to make a big deal of it but then is miserable when I don't make a big deal of it. One year he got upset because I didn't even make him a cake but he's so fucking moppy I don't know what he wants until after and he's complaining. I dread his birthday every year I never know what to do... And this year we have a three month old so even having the time to bake a cake is difficult. I'm a SAHM so I don't really have a ton of money...

I wish he would just say what he really wants before it too late!
