transition from formula to...???

My son is a super picky eater, and I have given him cows milk, but his poops have been super hard. Is there any toddler formula that is good for them that you guys have tried?? I have given him prunes but doesn't always help.. also those little packs w veggies n fruit w fiber! Help

We had that issue with milk based products when our little guy was 2-3 months old. We switched him to soy and haven't had an issue since. If he goes a little before a poop again they have him on prunes and juice so we do t have hard stools anymore hah

I went from similac sensitive to the toddler version. Similac has a regular version if your baby has no issues. I have my son on Almond milk because he is lactose intolerant like me.  I use the fruit pouches in his milk, and I like to sneak in spinach and other veggies. Avoid stuff with banana if he's constipated. Its normal for their poop to be more solid now, but if he has pellets or really hard poops,  you will want to give him diluted prune juice, pear, apple,  or grape with the milk.

We switched to organic whole milk slowly. He still gets about 6 oz of formula and 12-16 oz of milk each day and some water.  We started the transition slowly around 11 months with the ok from the pediatrician. She told us toddler formulas are mostly a money making product and babies tend to not need them. Maybe ask the pediatrician. Our son also eats what we eat and I make his baby food. It is usually something like puréed or cubed  sweet potatoes, applesauce, carrots, mangoes, spinach, bananas, squash. We usually dont have issues with constipation or hard stole.
