What career is there for people who love history ?

Question

So I am studying Computer Science & it's alright. I like it but I'm not like in love with it. My sisters and I pass our time talking about Queen Elizabeth and all her history. I really enjoy talking and learning about History so I wanted to see what kind of Careers I can look into. I know teaching history is an option but I do not want to be teacher.

You can work in Schools, museums, archives, you could even do journalism… Etc.

You could be a historical researcher, preservationist, or archivist.  You could also be a professional genealogist.  There are a lot of careers that deal with history.  I would recommend speaking with the career counselor at your college.  Best of luck.

Ok, I've had a think. What'd be cool is a historical researcher / consultant for films & tv shows -to ensure accuracy. It might be events & speeches, or props or social customs.
I don't know whether it pays well or whether production companies just go to academics or what, but I'd look into it 😁

I worked as a curatorial intern in college and it was basically people talking about interesting history stuff all the time. The pay was absolute crap and it was one of the world's leading museums. So, I went with an IT career instead and just do the history stuff as a hobby. It's nice to have the money to be able to travel to beautiful historical places whenever I want
