This is all I think of when I see Maisy. For sure will be pronounced May-zee.

Yeah the name Maisy is a completely different name than Macy. The child will NEVER have their name pronounced or spelled correctly. It's not the same name with a unique spelling, Maisy is its own name.

I like Macy, but in the south at least, there would be so many people pronounce it "may-zee" but they're all cute names.

Macy and Maisie are different names phonetically. . If you like the Macy pronunciation then spell is Macey, Macy, or Maci :)
