Does anyone regret getting an epidural? If so, please comment why

I don't.  My anesthesiologist was amazing. I didn't feel the numbing needle, didn't feel the epidural needle,  was able to feel my legs and push the right way.  I was able to feel SOME pain, AND enjoy my labor and delivery. Felt no pain from the epidural after. I'm at 15 weeks pp and have no pain whatsoever. I'm blessed to have had such an experienced anesthesiologist.

They had to up my pitocin a few times before I got successful contractions, then when they hit, they hit HARD and I wasn't getting a break between contractions. Labor was very hard and I wasn't dilating. I got my epidural and went from 4 to 10 within a few hours. My body was able to relax, I took a nap, and only pushed for about an hour. I will NEVER regret my epidural. They told me if I didn't start dilating, I would have to get a C section.

Yes, labor is painful but for me the instinct to move was so strong that being stuck in bed made me anxious and restless. I wanted to move so badly and after the epidural I couldn't physically get up and move.

If I could do it again I'd power through the pain, I lasted over 20 hours of pitocin induced labor before I couldn't take it anymore and I think that was only from the power boost to the contractions from the cytotec they gave me.

Yes I still regret it I had an epidural with 2 of my 5 children. My discs in my back are really close together so they had to poke me 18+ times. I could feel the needle scraping my bone and each time he missed it sent a shooting pain in my hips. I kept thinking OMG I'm going to be paralyzed. I still have spinal headaches from it and it has been 2 years since the last one. I also have back issues now from it. To me it is just not worth it I would rather go through labor without medicine.

Yes! They ended up stopping it anyway so I could feel better to push. So it was pointless for me to even get it in the first place. I ended up having a c section after pushing for 3 1/2 hours and I sometimes wonder if he would have come out naturally if I could have felt more without getting it at all.

Oh hell no! The if I didn't have the epideral I think I would have died lol! 
Mine didn't work the first time so they had offered for me to deliver natural at that point or do another ep.... I chose another one

I tried sooo hard to go natural. I went 20 hours without medicine, and then got the epidural. I had my baby 5 hours later. I didn't sleep for 36 hours total. I was so exhausted I needed something to help me! I don't regret it though, I tore and had to get stitches and it gave me some time to rest. I stopped administering myself medicine a little while before I gave birth though so that I wasn't too numb to be able to push lol. It took me an hour to push, and I feel like if I went natural that it would've went faster because I could push better. Idk what I want to do this time, just going to see how it goes!

I hear stories from many women whose backs are now permanently ruined because of epidurals. ☹️ It's so sad.

Only half of my body was numb but I was able to dilate so that was nice. I got induced. I disliked it because I couldn't move around but I didn't because it stopped me from needing a c section
