Any other July babies going through a clingy phase?

My daughter is 7 months today and for the past week or so she has been SO clingy! She wants to be held or very close by me at all times. She is sometimes okay to play independently as long as I'm within her sight and she checks to make sure I'm still there. But if I leave the room for a second she has a meltdown! Not sure if it's teething, developmental leap, separation anxiety or what but I hope it passes soon! I can't get anything done!

I am going through the same thing! Wonder weeks says that at 29-30 weeks, they go through a fussy period, but not necessarily a leap. They are working on realizing that you can leave the room and come right back!

I'm on the same boat can't get anything done at the house... she won't even nap in her crib

Ohhh I see how that could happen. Clare is already crawling though and is only in the walker while I food prep for dinner. I really likes chasing the dog around though so I'll totally still be using this thing lol

Yes, it's a developmental phase.
You can google it 6 monts old separation anxiety.
Just kiss and hold him  :) It will go away

Yes the last few days. I thought it was connected to her teething as she's starting to refuse her feedings earlier in the day

My 6 month old is like this.. hates to not see me in the room. Can play happily but then after a while she'll realise I'm not there so she acts up.. it's pretty frustrating! She also won't sleep long in her crib but will do well at night which I'm happy about I'd rather a good night sleep 😋 hoping this passes! Good luck x

I have noticed that my 6 month old will cry sometimes when I put her down or walk away while she's playing. She does play ok for a good while by herself, but I've started wearing her more around the house so I can get stuff done without leaving her so much. I love having her with me 😊

YESSSSSS and it drives me nuts. I can't leave the room for a minute without her screaming. Or even if I'm in the same room but she can't see me she screams.
