fertile window and sex

Okay so my boyfriend and I want to have sex, but I'm starting my fertile window tomorrow. It would both be our first time, would it be safe/wise to have sex during my fertile window? He'll be wearing a condom as well as pulling out. I'm not on birth control, but I just want to know if we should wait until after or if we could go for it.
