spotting, nausea and headache

I swore I wouldn't be crazy. I swore I wouldn't symptom check and all the rest but I am and I can't stop!! I've had nausea on and off for the last week and I'm spotting but my period isn't acting "normal". Typically my second day is "I'm dying make it stop" heavy flow and I'm into day '3?' Assuming day 1 actually counted and I haven't even had to use a pad. The color isn't the deep red it usually is and I almost lost my breakfast after sitting next a gentleman of questionable hygiene at the office. I took a test 3 days ago and it was a BFN. Am I crazy? Am I reading into this? Af is technically here (maybe??) lol why is the denyal so real??? Maybe I'm fighting the flu?
