A cure for Vaginismus?

Jennifer
I have suffered from vaginismus for the past three years. The majority of which I had no clue there was a name/condition for what I was experiencing. Penetration was difficult if not impossible and the rar times penetration did happen, it was extremely painful. This is due to the pelvic floor muscles involuntarily contracting upon insertion.
Being single, this really made dating difficult. I feel like it's the reason I haven't been able to get a guy to stick around longer than 2 months. I felt like I was broken and my confidence was completely shattered.
Fast forward to this week. The guy I'm currently dating took it upon himself to do his own research for my condition. There is an at-home treatment using dilators that is supposed to be quite effective, but I was bad at doing them.
My guy found another option that he asked if I wanted to try the other night. It was marijuana. I tried it and it worked! I had pain-free penetrative sex for the first time in more than three years. I cried the happiest of tears afterwards. We tried again last night using pot and I still can't believe it works.
I am the happiest that I have ever been. I have regained my confidence and I don't feel broken anymore. I hope that we keep doing our "research" and that eventually I will be able to have sex without smoking prior.
I hope that by sharing my story, other women may find relief from the same condition which occurs in 1 in 10 women.
