never-ending miscarriage

My miscarriage started on Jan. 15 I was 11 weeks but our baby measured 8 weeks. I miscarried naturally but went to the doctor on Monday And he said there still about 6mm of tissue or lining left. I'm still having major cramping and bleeding doctor said everything looks fine and give it time or schedule a DNC...
