Period while on birth control?

So I got the mirana put in almost 2 weeks ago. All day I've been cramping like crazy, like worse than period cramps. I have used a tampon a few times today and whenever I'd go to change the blood would be like a very light red almost white it's also kinda watery looking. I have a check up appointment on the 22nd. Should I be worried?
