Chances of false negative 3 days before af due

I find myself commenting on posts telling people youre not out til af arrives and it makes sense but i just cant help but feel really down. I tested yesterday with a 1st response early test 3 days before af is due 11dpo and it was a clear bfn no sign atall of a faint line or anything atall so am i right in thinking im probably out this month as surely there would be something even the faintest of lines.
