where did you find baby's heartbeat? with Doppler.

Question

I'm 11 weeks pregnant and I haven't find the baby's heartbeat at all with the fetal doppler. Anyone know what areas to really look? I thought baby would be next to my belly button but I heard they're all the way in the pelvic bone area? But right in the middle or is it possible they're somewhere on the sides? 
I'm new to all this and I've been trying since I've been 10 weeks lol

At that point I found it right above my public hair line on the left. Your uterus isn't even up to your belly button until 20 weeks so it can't be that high yet.

I don't have a home Doppler but I had an appointment at 11/12 weeks and the doctor found the heartbeat right near the top of my underwear, maybe even a little below. Even at my last appointment (15w 3D) the heartbeat was found just above my underwear. Both times right in the center.

Mine was low, but it's normal but my baby is more off to the left side.

I don't have any experience with an at home doppler, but my OB couldn't hear my daughter's heartbeat with just the doppler until I was 14 weeks.

First get familiar with your own heart rate so you'll know when you hear the unfamiliar fast one. The feel your public bone in the middle, start with the doppler there, press quite hard. If you're struggling tilt it up and down and slowly move it up. I used to find it in different places day to day, and sometime I couldn't find it at all. Don't worry if you can't find it, some people don't manage to find them on at-home ones till much later

On both sides of ur pelvic bone it's NOT the baby's heartbeat,  it's ur own pulse. At 11 weeks, ur uterus is now STARTING to rise from under ur pelvic bone. It should be a little bit higher,  just a tad higher than ur pubic hair,  I the middle.
