husband hiding marriage and pregnancy from his parents

I asked my best friend about an ongoing situation between my husband and I and an argument we had since he's been away.... I'm just thinking I could have handled the situation differently but I feel like the biggest promise that he made to me was broken and I don't know how to feel.... we've been together over 2 years.... married over 1 year... and expecting a child.... my in laws don't know that I now share their last name and are expecting a new addition to the family....which my husband was going to tell them..... but decided that he wasn't going to....I know I'm pregnant, and over emotional, but how would you all react in a situation like this? I do suffer from depression and anxiety.... so I'm probably taking this waaaay too hard... I can't help but think I'm in the wrong....
