anatomy scan?

This may sound stupid but I will be 20 weeks 6 days on the day of my anatomy scan. My ob told me it was just to check if the baby has Down syndrome, will they tell me what the gender is right then and there? My SO will be taking off work for the appointment so I would love to know before he actually calls off.
