Stitches???

I delivered January 17th and my vagina is really itchy so I felt around down there and can feel my stitches are they itching because they are healing? What can I do to stop the itching? When will the dissolve my nurse said they should be gone by 2 weeks but they are still there should I be concerned?

I'd give the doctors office a call on Monday. I had my 3rd daughter on the 14th of January and they were gone by the 22nd. With my second they were gone 9/10 days later.

Itching is very normal, Tucks helped me. I still had a stitch or two at my 6 week appointment, they take longer to dissolve in some people.

I remember being very itchy. I believe it is because you are healing. I had the dermablast spray. It helped cool the area.( I got the one without anti-biotic- I believe it's blue)

I had extreme itching and doc said it was the starts of a yeast infection plus at 4 weeks pp my stitches still hadn't dissolved and doc removed them, about 10hrs after the itching was almost nonexistent

I felt my stitches and they itched for quiet a while. I think they were completely gone after 3/4 weeks, but it still kinda hurt down there for about 3 month 😖
