Should I get the bar/implant/implanon? (I'm currently on the pill, but I'm very forgetful)

I'm currently on the pill, but I'm very forgetful. Even setting alarms for when to take it doesn't always help.... :/

I'm on Nuvaring and I like it. You just have to remember to take it out after three weeks to have a period and put a new one in NO LATER than 7 days after taking the last one out, period or no period/period done or not. I usually put mine in on a Sunday and take it out on a Sunday. They give you a sticker to write the day that you put it in and the day you need to take it out that you put on the little foil pouch it comes in (you keep the pouch to properly dispose of the ring). You also have to put it in the week of your placebo pills when switching, and yes you will end up missing that period and having a long cycle until you take the ring out. And yes, that period will suck. You may (read as definitely will) have heightened emotions during that first week of the ring/last week of the pill because you have all the hormones in your pill and all the hormones in the ring at the exact same time. The first month is hell, but it usually all calms down after month 3. The only lasting thing I have is that I'm now an angry-crier for even the littlest silly stuff. I get upset/frustrated and I cry. 😂 But it's nothing I can't live with.

I was on nexplanon and I gained 60lbs, it made me psycho crazy and then I went from being sex crazed to a nun. I could not have sex because it hurt so bad since I couldn't get wet. I cried a lot and had suicidal thoughts! But I just got on yaz and so far I love it.
