When did you get the nursery set up?

Did you ask for the bedding etc for the nursery on your registry or did you buy it yourself?? I have so many questions!!! I'm 25 and a half weeks and i don't know when I should be getting started on his nursery!!!

I started really early because we had to actually remodel the room. Replace the 70's ceiling fan, skim coat and paint the walls, replace the ugly blue carpet (replaced flooring in entire house) I'm actually 9 days over due and still have like 10 minutes of tweaking left lol. Here's a before/after:

I'm 37 weeks on Tuesday and mines still not done yet. Still need to set crib up and hang stuff on the wall and organize what furniture goes where

I'm almost 38 weeks and just finished, I started forever ago but felt I couldn't officially finish until after my baby shower cause I didn't know what I would be getting. I didn't ask for my bedding cause it was really expensive. I kept my registry limisted to stuff like toys, clothes, bottles, diapers, bath stuff, towels, burp cloths etc. I didn't have anything on there that was over $60 cause not many people will spend that much. Only 3 people at my shower looked at my registry anyways.

We bought our own furniture and assembled sometime around 28-30 weeks. I got my sheets and mobiles, etc at my shower, put those on around 32 weeks. I still have some little bits and pieces to buy, but the room is ready enough for babies now.

We bought all of the nursery furniture ourselves. I don't think most people buy the big furniture off your registry unless it's like a parent or grandparent
