Are you scared to deliver your baby?

Only 4 weeks pregnant and I'm already scared of the delivery of my baby.... do you have any advice to Tame the delivery during my pregnancy? It's like I don't know if I want to do it at home, at the hospital, with epidural  or not, c-section or natural... will I be ready for this? Will I be able to endure the pain? Will I be strong enough? How the hell will I do this ?

You have plenty of time! Watch some birth stories and documentaries and choose what you think is best for you. It's scary. But the worlds entire population is a result of women giving birth. You can do it

There's a Facebook group called birth without fear. You should look them up! Very supportive group and so many first time moms and experienced ones in there.

I think it's normal to be scared. Don't worry about collecting all this planning right off the bat. It will come to you the farther along you get. Like it's not recommended to get a c section unless medically needed. Also, I'm allergic to the epidural so I can't get it, that forms my birth plan right there. Do some research on at home births. Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are natural, unmedicated births. Just do some research along the way.

Being pregnant prepares you because carrying the baby so long you are just excited to see them yes you will still be scared but nit as bad because you have a bond with your little one😀. Relax enjoy it all good luck 😀

Als o when you go in labour you don't have a lot of time to really think sometimes you just do what you got to do to get through it and you will have support as well along the way 😀

Is this your first? It does seem scary doesn't it! I've done one with an epidural and one without. I'll do my next with one haha! You have so much time to research and talk to people. Pregnant women are overly excited to share their opinions so take it all in!! MY advice is prepare for natural even if you decide on an epidural. My second came so fast I had to do it natural and I didn't handle it well. Hypnobaby is a great resource for learning to go natural, tons of my friends have used it and one almost fell asleep during labor 😂😂 that's how relaxed she learned to be. It is the neatest thing you will EVER experience. It's awesome! Good luck, read read read!

I had the fear of labor and delivery my WHOLE pregnancy but when it came to the day that I went into labor, it all went out the window and I just kept in mind the whole time that in the end I was gonna have my sweet boy in my arms. It's totally normal to be scared because it's the unknown, you could have your birth plan down to a tee, but you never really know what's going to happen, it could change within seconds. Don't stress too much about it! Oh and I had a vaginal delivery with an epidural.
