birth control causing me not to want sex..anyways to increase it??

I've seen supplements online..I'm way too nervous to try something so I'm curious if anyone's tried anything and it worked?? Since I had my baby 6 weeks ago and got Depo..and started Prozac...I haven't wanted sex AT ALL..when I normally want it all the time. 😭😭

At 6 weeks postpartum, a low libido is common whether you are on birth control or not, especially if you're breastfeeding.  Not saying that's not what's causing it, because it's definitely possible, the mini pill lowered mine after I had my first baby.  I didn't realize until i stopped taking them and suddenly wanted sex again!

I chose to go non hormonal (paragard) after my second pregnancy, and at 7 months pp it's definitely better than it was on the mini pill, but still lower than normal (I'm still breastfeeding).

Definitely discuss it with your doctor, but your hormones are probably still not leveled out after baby, so it might be hard to tell if it's the birth control.
