pill to implant switch

Me and my partner of three years celebrated our anniversary yesterday by getting a hotel room for the day. I've been on the pill for over a year but I missed a pill last night and took it immediately this morning- didn't finish inside me but is it worth my time to take a test before I go tomorrow to get the implant? Or do they automatically give me one (at the health department). I'm probably just paranoid but Itd be nice to have someone tell me what to do lmao.
