birth control?!

I want to start on birth control, I don't have a boyfriend but I want to be safe for the future. However I'm 15 and if I even talk to my mom about me having sex she will flip her pancakes.

If your periods are regular, track your fertile days. Don't have sex during, right before, or after those days. And use condoms correctly and consistently. I'm not on the pill, and that's worked for me. To each her own of course, but I chose not to get on the pill because I believe it causes hormonal imbalances and possibly worse complications. Whatever you decide is on you girl! Your body! Wishing you the best of luck! ❤

I wouldn't recommend getting on birth control unless you are already planning on having sex. There's a lot of side effects you can avoid for a few more years. Of course if you are planning on having sex soon then go for it. Tell your mom your period has been irregular lately.

Mine started regular then suddenly became wild, it can happen so you could use that as a way to get on the pill
