Anyone experience an ectopic pregancy and now TTC?

Alyssa
Hello!!
We found out we were expecting in October, and a week later found out it was ectopic at 9 weeks.
After a dose of methotrexate, weekly blood tests and praying my HCG levels would hurry and get to zero.
First week of December I experienced major pain and decided to get another ultrasound. The mass had grown, and another one was present.
I was rushed into surgery. my left tube was removed and I had a large cyst on my ovary that was removed as well.
It's now February and I am feeling good. My scars are healing and I have gotten the okay to TTC again, I've been taking prenatal to replenish my folic acid that was depleated from the methotrexate.
We are not trying, but I am also not taking any procautions. Letting things happen as they will.
Although I wonder sometimes if my hubby understands how pregnancy happens lol I told him I'm not taking anything, and if he wants to wait to try we need to take precautions... I asked what does he suggest or feel comfortable with. He simply shrugged with a smile. Lol if men were responsible for taking birth control our population would be exponentially larger!😂
A part of me is terrified an ectopic will happen again, or I can't conceive anymore. I am 13 DPO and have a few symptoms but nothing major yet.
Has anyone experienced an ectopic? Loss of tube? How do you feel? Are you excited, nervous, sad, anxious?
