First Response Digital Ovulation Kit

I just bought this ovulation kit today. I'm 14 days into my cycle, it says to start using it on CD 5. Should I wait until next cycle to use it or start using it this cycle? I'm debating because what if I get pregnant this cycle and then I have no use for it next month. Which I do hope I get pregnant this cycle. I just don't want to waste this kit.
