Trouble Conceiving

Me & my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex for the past 3 months now, every test has been negative. My period is now a week late & my breast really sore , yet the test still says it's negative 😕 I don't really have a question but any suggestions as to why I am not pregnant yet ? Any suggestions that might help me conceive faster?
