anybody have a sick baby yet?

My LO  is coughing and is super snotty. It breaks my heart. Any tips? I have the nose frida.

My baby was hospitalized for 8 days when she was 3 weeks old. She was positive for RSV. All the nurses and doctors are saying that RSV and the flu are extremely bad this year. So if your baby is coughing, congested, not eating well, less pee or poo diapers, or breathing harder then PLEASE PLEASE take your LO in to be seen. Babies get sick fast and can be very bad if left untreated.

TAKE YOUR BABY IN! It could be rsv:( my two month old just tested positive for it.

But they will tell you, get a humidifier, number one thing if she has rsv is to suck all the boogers out, make sure you take the syringe and put it up there nose not just at the tip they are not gonna like it but it has to be done. Put saline drops in before doing that.  Do that before each feeding and before they go down for a nap or go to bed. Don't let your baby sleep flat on their back. Let them sleep in a swing, or prop them up with pillows. Turn on a hot shower and let baby sit in that room for ten mins. If baby's temp gets over 100.4 degrees that may be a sign of an infection and should seek medical attention ASAP. If you notice a blue tint to their lips or finger nails seek medical attention. These are directions from my pediatrician and the hospital.

My boy is 6 weeks today and he's had a cold the past few days. He's had a terrible cough that breaks my heart the past 2 days. He's congested and not eating the same amount as usual. I've been giving him saline drops, running hot steamy showers and hanging out with him in there a few times a day, and I gave him a dose of baby tylenol last night.  The only thing I'm missing is a humidifier. Can't get one of those until Tuesday. I hope it passes soon though, I don't like watching my baby be sick knowing I can't do much for it. 😔😔

My little one had a cold two weeks ago. I used saline drops to soften up the congestion in his nose and sucked it out after a couple of minutes. I also ran a humidifier in the bedroom at night. I breastfed in the bathroom with a hot shower running and the doors closed twice a day. His cold lasted about 7 days, I think.

Humidifier works miracles wherever you are planning on putting it close the door then u and baby go in the room also get some baby vicks rub just a little on the bottom of the baby feet put socks back on

We're dealing with some congestion. I do a little saline and use the nose frida to suction out snot before feeding him.
