My birth story ❤

Teresa
I was set to be induced Friday Feb 3rd at 6:30 a.m. I get to the hospital only to find out they had a busy night and was being pushed back. I would have known before leaving home, but my phone crashed the day before and wouldn't have a new one until that Friday evening... Just my luck.. Anyways I end up getting a room at 8 a.m. so it wasn't horrible. They checked me and I was at a 3 still so the nurse started pitocin and said my doctor wanted her to bump it up every 30 minutes and would be in to break my water after she finished a c-section. The pitocin helped my contractions come but they didn't feel painful. Around 2 p.m. the nurse checked me and said I was 4cm dilated so she suggested I go ahead and get the epidural before it gets painful. So I agree.. But then the anesthesiologist comes in and says I can't have the epidural because my blood platelets are down. I was crushed and thinking omg I can't do this. 😂 This would be baby number 5 with no epidural, but it has been 10 years. My doctor comes in at 3 and is mad that they won't give me the epidural. Lol. So she tells me she will break my water and it will go fast. She breaks my water at 3:30 and leaves. My nurse shoots some pain medication in my iv and it makes me loopy but doesn't help the pain. The pain got way worse and there was so much pressure like the baby was coming. It has been maybe 15 minutes at this point. My so can't find my nurse so another nurse comes in there to check me and says I'm at a 7. She calls other people to start getting the room ready for baby. As they are getting the room ready I can feel the baby coming. By this point My contractions are like murder with the baby trying to come but trying not to push. The nurse goes to check me and says baby is coming and calls my doctor. My doctor got back in there and with 3 pushes my sweet baby girl was here ❤ I'll just say that the pain was way worse than I remembered 😂 and may have traumatised me Lol. But we survived and my so is already talking about trying for a boy 😒 My sweet Rylee Bea was born at 39 weeks and 3 days weighing 7lbs 4 oz and was 18 1/2 inches long
